Lightbulb A mastermind forum group?

If i'm not wrong, a mastermind group is basically a group where the people involved get together, discuss their goals and help each other or at least that's one of its purpose.

I was wondering if it were possible to have this forum act as a sort of mastermind group. It's more quantity over quality since no one is obliged to put in too much time or effort but there's more people around so it's likely to generate more replies. So, say for those who'd like help, they could post their goals and other forum members can chip in to contribute by giving ideas, contacts, etc

So let's take my goal for example

Quote:
Goal: Become the greatest liverpool footballer

Polarity: Both

Purpose for self: To enjoy earning a comfortable living out of doing something i love, to prove to myself the power of hard work, persistence, and the universe. To derive joy from helping others.

Purpose for others: To prove to people fear being unrealistic, that dare not go for the same goal as i am because no one did it before, and society doesn't think they can do it. To inspire others to believe in themselves and not the negative people around them

Background information:

I'm a 16 year-old Singaporean, i'm an above average player for my age group, but Singapore has relatively low football standards due to its small population size, its culture (football has little importance), and its pragmatic environment (In a survey of 100 people i did, 100% of them felt the environment in Singapore was one geared towards pragmatism)

When people ask me what i want to be and i tell them, most of them give a look of disbelief. At a glance, no present national player in Singapore has come close to playing in the Championship of the EPL (one division lower than the Premiership), the culture isn't there, i'm not recognized as a real talent (in fact i'm in one of the top academic schools so most if not everyone expects me to go anywhere but sports)

So, when i first considered my goal, i was in a big dilemna, not knowing whether it was 'realistic' to go for, whether i'd be wasting my time and energy, and all that negative reasoning. I realised, "hey, that must be what everyone must be thinking" so when i become a liverpool footballer, i'd be able to inspire people to chase seemingly unrealistic goals.

Help required:

-Suggestions on how best to get the extra edge physically, mentally and technically (eg hypnosis, eat well, visualization, etc)
-Successful footballers willing to exchange emails with me
-Any other help you may feel would be good
Um, yeah so that could be the rough format of any mastermind forum group we might want to have. And my goal is really that, so maybe we could start off with mine! (:

Strange, I've been thinking along the same general lines recently : to have a Mastermind Group in a Forum seems like a good idea!

In a way, this whole Steve Pavlina Forum is a sort of Mastermind Group already, with people of similar interest gathering in the different threads, exchanging information, opinions and yes ... helping each other hands on quite a bit.

What have you got in mind then? Being more specific, detailed and personal with a kind of personal profile, 1 thread per person?

I've been part of them, started one and a certain amount of people will do most of the work and most won't value it if it's free.

Just my experience, you could have a different one.
