Arrow Am I a Lightworker?

Hey all. Im new to the forum, and this is in fact my first post. I have been using the LoA for a few months now (and its yeilded great results) however I recently came upon the article of Polarization and it struck me that I was an example of someone flowing both ways.

I was just wondering, it says to be a lightworker you "serve others' and a dark worker you serve yourself. Does that mean that you put OUT into the universe instead of taking IN? I would like nothing more than devote myself to this mastery, and i THINK i would be a light worker (if i can understand the concept)

Im young(18) and im going to school for broadcasting and I want to be an actor as well. I am extremely excited about these prospects, and the fact that I am going to be wildly successful in my life and that I have learned of these life principles at my age. Now, seeing as how I am going into a profession where I am projecting, and performing outward, I have a gut feeling that I am and have always been a Lightworker. I envision myself being on stage or on screen, being at complete ease, giving an amazing performance, everyone loving it, it going extremely well, I feel happy, joyfull and excited at all of these prospects. When I envision my intentions, I picture MYSELF doing things to get it, and the energy comes from picturing myself doing these things and doing them flawlessly.
Here is an example of what I mean.

My friend is using the law to manifest himself losing 20 lbs. Not surprisingly, he has lost 15 lbs already and he eats horribly and doesnt exercise. He is completely devoted to this cause, and acts and belives that this is already a reality. He pictures himself losing weight easilly, feeling great that hes doing no exercise or diet and still losing weight. He knows that the universe will bring this to him, and it is. he laughs because it is so easy.he is a darkworker.

I, on the other hand, envision it differently. I picture myself weighing 180 lbs, running every day and feeling GREAt when I am, working out and loving it, noticing my results daily, I picture the actual work I am doing, and I picture the result. I picture myself in incredible shape, but I work for it and I get my energy knowing that the work will come easilly for me, and the results will be incredible.

Can someone please explain to me the major differences between light and dark workers, and how should i continue my pursuit of masting the light polarity? ( i feel like im in star wars a new hope. I love it lol) Any advice you guys can give me is more than appreciated. Thanks guys

Hello. 18 is young to decide what your going to be in life. But a good time to start. I wouldn't worry about being anything other than pleasant to people for the time being. Because if your going to be an actor your really going to need it through thick and thin, disappointment and dismay. You may find that 'serving other people' may have a different meaning - Mark Ruffalo - Biography.

I like your enthusiasm. If you keep this up, this is what will make you.

Default Serving yourself is serving others

Well here's my take on the whole issue. By serving yourself you are actually serving others. When you are happy and fulfilled and have all that you could wish for and more besides you are creating a reality that others can look at and say "I want this too" and by them seeing you do it they can then believe it is possible for them. And there is no greater service to others than to empower them to become happy and fulfilled themselves.

As some big spiritual leader once said give a man a fish and he'll eat, teach him to fish and he'll open a fish and chip shop and we can all eat with much more ease than before.

I don't think 18 is young to decide what you want to do in life, I decided when I was 14...

Anyway, the way I see it is that the lightworker both recieves and gives, keeping everything in flow. The darkworker only recieves. But here's the catch, the lighworker doesn't expect payment for their work. If people offer it he/she will gladly take it but it's not required. You can't only give and refuse to recieve or you'll lose your ability to give, like becoming homeless to help the homeless. That's my current understanding of light and dark workers.

Well to your first question;
If you gotta ask than you aint one ..... yet

Oh and love the enthusiasm keep it up. On a quick sidenote, you seem to have the makings of a lightworker but consider both sides. It isn't a descision to be taken lightly (pardon the PUN).
