I need some help deciding on which way I want to polarize. It's difficult because they're both good, it's just which one is best (for me)? I love people, a lot. But I love myself more. I love performing and creating things, but it's not the same thrill as being in control of a situation, or being looked to for direction. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way. I dont know. Sometimes I'll feel "light's definately the one" then later "Dark's the way to go." I made myself a little dizzy thinking about choosing. You might say I should wait, get more experiance, then decide. But it tugs at me "Pick me, Pick me, Pick me" all day. After all, I'm still VERY young. It wouldnt do any great damage to wait till I'm older. But I'm just thinking of the advantage I'd have if I picked now, having 3 years of being polarized before having to deal with the pressures of living out in the world. Dont you think that would be a plus? I need a second opinion. Thanks.

Well, I'd like to point out that this is not an eternal decision. My best advice is, try each one out for 30 days or so, then re-reflect on the question.

I can relate to this as I myself am a bit of a chameleon. What if you have an abundance of things you want try/do/can do/good at/should do? How to find the true path? I dont mean to imply that there must be some deeper level of good to divine - some true level of self, (but I wont rule it out all the same), but you have a truly wide choice of options? The book title "I can do anything I want - if I only knew what I wanted to do" comes to mind (didn't help by the way).

That's a great way of describing this type of indecision -- option paralysis. The best way to counter any kind of inner-lock-down is with its opposite: In this case, the opposite would be a total lack of options. The ultimate expression of that is, well, death. I know the advice might sound weird, but confronting death (in a safe way) forces us to connect with that inner resounding -- that place that does scream: THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. Works for me, anyway.
