The most inspirational movie(s)
You know that moment when you are watching a movie and you feel that you have enormous power within and you are ready to change your life. Well I will never forget few movies which literally changed my life.
- Erin Brockovich
- Pursuit of Happyness
- Shawshank Redemption
- Forrest Gump
What's your best favorite inspirational movie?
Life is Beautiful and Dazed and Confused
I wonder why Forest Gump is famous...I haven't watched it though
Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire
The Color Purple
The Matrix 1
many of course, but just to say one: "Powder" is very special
this is not a movie-movie but very inspirational:
Amy Purdy: Living beyond limits
Amy Purdy: Living beyond limits | Video on TED.com
When she was 19, Amy Purdy lost both her legs below the knee. And now ... she's a pro snowboarder. In this powerful talk, she shows us how to draw inspiration from life's obstacles.
Friday Night Lights
Scent of a Women
Dead Poet's society
Harold and Maude
Chariots of Fire
District 13 (This one comes from my personal love of parkour. The movie is meh, but the stunts are amazing and make me want to go running)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Don't laugh. Frodo got stabbed, poisoned by a giant spider, and had his finger bitten off to dunk a ring in some lava. That takes balls)
"The Truman Show"....The story of waking up to your true self.
Braveheart - Anyone can have an impact
Life is Beautiful - Attitude is everything
Pursuit of Happyness - Never give up
Seabiscuit - When things look grim, always have hope
Auntie Mame (with Rosslind Russell). A nice reminder to be yourself and celebrate life
So many others
Every batman movie I know:
HE BEGINS; HE FALLS; HE RISES
batman begins and the dark knight are the most close to my heart because of the courage and the potential it shows us.. every human being of doing good, feeling worthy of living; which can be forgotten from time to time
The Diving Bell and Butterfly -- Life is short and unexpected, you just have to do what you love and try out new stuff, love and be loved, grow and learn.
The movie begins with a man lying in bed and opening his left eye. He soon finds out that he can't speak and is completely disabled -- only his left eye and brain are working.
One of the movies that has been weirdly inspirational and I have no idea WHY is Frontline's "House of Saud". I had to watch it in History class and it was really, really inspiring. I have no idea why...
It taught me to stop trying to visualize my goals (which doesn't work for me) and start following my inner sense of 'go thattaway'. So I did.
These are a much watch
man on the wire
warrior (the recent mma one)
