Darkworking in Music

I keep describing the path in words-what about sound?

I've a habit of constructing what I call sound collages. It might seem like a fancy phrase for "playlist" but it's more than just putting a bunch of songs together, it's about forming a narrative that's personally symbolic and energizing. As I pick each song I take notes using similar guidelines as what Asmoday uses for this exercise: Collage To Your Center

Depending on my purpose, I'll either do exactly what he describes ("I identify with this song, doesn't make me special, yadda yadda) or I'll do something closer to writing a short story to go with what I've pieced together, the music serving as the soundtrack for each set piece.

I recently decided to make one that I felt embodied the left-hand path focusing specifically on strength and pride. "When I listen to it I want to feel in control, I want to feel invulnerable."

I'm not going to spell out exactly what I intended with each song or why I placed it where I did. I suspect darkworkers will pick up on the significance and the symbolism immediately whereas people on the outside will have to dig a little to understand, but regardless this should showcase what sets darkworking apart and why it isn't compatible with a simultaneous practice of the other path.

It's not abandoned, just on hiatus while I do other impressive ♥♥♥♥♥.
