Considering that I, myself, am fairly educated and somewhat well-written; considering that this is a forum for personal development, and that there are many here whose "development" concerns the sphere of writing; considering that I quite recently read an entire chapter of Gibbon's The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, as well as entertained myself with the viewing of both 'V' for Vendetta and The Libertine; and considering that even I, myself, am wont to carry on in my own script, using countless commas and semicolons, and writing entire paragraphs that constitute but a single sentence, then to criticize you, my dear Mr. Gubb, as "verbose", would, I think, qualify me as a hypocrite of the highest order.
