Default I Feel Like Collaborating With Someone

I feel like my purpose right now is to collaborate online on a PD-oriented project with one or more people who, like me, have been doing PD work for a while. It could be oriented toward mutual self-improvement, helping others with their self-improvement, or improving the world in some way. Would anyone here like to co-create an idea for a project with me and then work together to carry it out?

PD is kind of a broad topic. :P Sounds like fun, though.

Well, I've done 3 collaborative projects on these forums already, and I consider each one to have been a real success, so I'd love to do another.

The first one was where I co-manifested with someone. That is, we each picked an area of self-improvement that we wanted to manifest / work on in our own lives, and then we intended/manifested (each using whichever method we preferred) them together, and reported back on our respective changes.

The second was where you and I had conversations on the phone about communication, with an aim to improve our communication skills and learn more about communication itself in the abstract.

The third was where I worked on compliments with someone. That is, we each worked together to identify how we'd like to improve in the area of giving and receiving compliments, and talked about opportunities that showed up in our lives that allowed us to put what we had talked about into practice.

Very worthy projects -- well done! Although these are great projects to collaborate with online, imagine the impact if you continued such projects offline. Some of these skills when done face to face, take them to a higher level and probably where they can be of most value - which is in the face to face scenario.

I agree; it would definitely be fun and valuable to do this type of thing face-to-face, as well. I'm just not sure how to find people offline who share my interest in PD. Any ideas?

Maybe search in Google "Personal Development <your city>" and see the results that come up. If you go to a place that's listed as nearby, potentially you'd be able to meet someone to collaborate with or maybe you could even get permission to put up a poster for what you're looking for.

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know!

EDIT: You could also try a post in the "Local Groups" section of this forum and see if that works out.

To Your Success,
Matthew Cluff

I've seen many Meetup.com groups in my region that have interest in this. You might want to check to see if they are active in your area.

As a matter of fact, one of the people who contacted me about this thread mentioned that she was looking for help with the web development side of a project she was already working on. I hope you don't mind that I passed your name along to her.

No problem

I have always been wanting to start and grow a website, just haven't come across the right idea. I think I want to make some type of tool/niche social network that people will find useful and want to use while also being profitable eventually.

So I am open on collaborating with someone on something like that, but we'd have to be a good match to do so, I think.

I think this is a great idea. I would love to collaborate, for me there are two things I want to create in my life, one is manifesting a really good relationship, the other is to finish writing a book..

edelc: Awesome. I sent you a PM about us collaborating together.

Harmonium: Sorry that I never replied to your post! I'll be sure to send you a PM about your website idea later today.

Matthew & Clint: Cool, thanks for the suggestions.
