You're probably a darkworker if you have fear-based guides. I used to think it was just about helping others vs helping yourself (for some reason), but we all help others AND ourselves usually quite frequently so that doesn't really narrow it down. |

Kinda like fringe sexual fantasies, you can conjure all kinds of taboos and wild and sick stuff, but you cant actually do a fraction of it all, even if you tried. So attributing stuff to demons seems to me as a biproduct of upbringing in a society where religion existed, even tho it was secular. I myself grew up in atheist household in mainly atheist society (former Yugoslavia), so the concept of mixing in demons is very strange to me. But thats just me, I just dont have mental vocabulary for religious constructs, and I dont particularly need one. I do have same issues like everyone else, but what you may call demons I call self-reinforcing negative stream of thought. The feeling that there is demonic or mystical force behind it comes purely from the fact that our imagery and thoughts fire faster in our brain then our rational part, and when it is negative, it bothers us and we try to shut it out, but we cant since were one step behind. Best way is just let it fire and dont fight it and dont pay attention either, eventually all that negative energy gets spent, and you can focus again. Also doing sports helps, something that requires coordination (say windsurfing) and that gives you a bit of sensory overload. I also believe that when people become addicted to drugs, sex or say video games, it is the sensory overload they are after, to drown the negative stream. | |

| utterly fascinated - i've never heard of lightworkers/darkworkers; and spent three hours digesting this entire thread last night. question -- are these 'life paths', which people make a conscious choice to follow? (I.E., someone declares "I'm going to be a darkworker", then subsequently aligns themselves with that polarity, and chooses the actions/tasks/lifestyles that go with said polarity?) or is more along the lines of, a person recognizes within themself an affinity, or natural gravitation, that compels them towards one or the other? -- very interested in learning more. |
