Default Real World Facts versus Hidden World Fanatiscm: Am I 21 and Craaaazy?

So this is what has been in my el-cogito so far:
I am still a young person, living at home for the time being with my parents, essentially I switched colleges a few times and now I am here with a sole purpose of getting my own father off the couch and into hot air balloon chasing.

Am I trying to relieve my childhood?
Does anyone have any remedial insight into these states of mind?

When we are not absolutely happy and doing good and thinking good things, it means that we are being biochemically cheated by our brain. Brain is a biochemical machine and it is our filter of perception of reality. Biochemical malfunction is what people call "being crazy", but that's just a temporary malfunction, caused by biochemical imbalances.
When we are young our bodies change a lot biochemically, leading to some natural imbalances from time to time.

Just do not let yourself to be tempted by the dark side of the force. World is not as complex as we think it is at this age.

i was in the same situation like u are.But then after years of fighting with myself and asking my mother to improve it was absolutely getting impossible.
THen a bit of buddha and Ekhart Tolle's books n i figure out its kind of impossible to change people's mind, though what u can do is make them understand what its great to be on the other side which u are showing. But sometimes even if u try it doesn;t change. So i say leave the things,Life is a game so play it.
Don't go hard on anything just keep on rolling.Don't take anything seriously thats it.Be with the flow. There is a lot in common with problems around us and your mind.I won't go deep in that area has a lot has been written in recent years but what i m telling is don't try to magnify your problems which are illusions.Lay on Bed and think is that really bothering me,waht Needs to be fixed.blah blah
I am still loathing with myself for not implementing even 1% i know but hey i can't do things against my will.

Default Start within

Stop trying to change your father and start by focusing on changing yourself.

Look at your own life and see what excites you, and just go for it.

You will be surprised by how much the world changes around you when you change yourself.

Thumbs up

trying to change your father is like him trying to change you when although it's even more awkward as he is older than you...

Also there's the fact that after 35(if he's older than that) our brains lose their ability to be changed and to learn something in a completely new manner.

If you make him proud in some way it will eventually make him feel good about himself, too and that will for sure motivate him to do anything - from building a tree house to just rearranging the garage for the sake of it.
