Three years ago this month (on April 22nd exactly), I decided to become a lightworker. I made the declaration on this forum here back in my previous life as seeker5. On this three year anniversary, I decided to reflect back on this past three years and how the decision to polarize has affected me. It has being a very challenging journey for me, however, the past year, especially the past 6 months have made it all worth it. I wrote the post to review this journey with the intention of posting it in full on this forum. However the post is 2900 words, which comes out to about 15,000 characters. That would require me to break it into 4 forum posts. Instead of doing something that messy, I instead created a free wordpress blog that I could link to and use for this post (and others if I have other long posts to write on this forum as I have a feeling I may). I disabled the comments on the blog post, so please post your feedback on this thread or via private message to me. I'm welcoming all feedback, both positive and critiques. Here it is: My 3 Year Lightworker Anniversary | Le Roi |

Thank you Sandra and Artelus The technique is listening to the meditation audiotrack of Doreen Virtue called "Past Life Regression" with Angels. In the beginning, you are asked to address a pattern, or fear that you have, and then you let the guided meditation guide you. The full meditation is about 45 minutes long. The meditation goes back into past lives to help you. I don't necessarily believe I'm actually receiving information about past lives, so I command my subconscious to make up past lives if needed to make a point across to me about the situation/fear I asked to address. Seems to work just as well. |

That was beautiful Le Roi! You only need to love and bless those you meet on your travels to be contributing to the world. Working on your fears especially brings you a step closer into BEING that perfect part of you, you were meant to be. Salute to my fellow lightworker brother Love Jeremy xxxx |

This blog post spoke to me so much. Wonderful I am trying to face my fears this year too, finally drag out the the things that I have been avoiding for so long...scary, but good. Incidentally I have always had fear about not finding jobs, money etc but over the years I have learnt that for some reason, no matter what... jobs always fall out the sky for me. So this year, when I knew my work gig was up...in about a month and a half time, I decided not to sweat it too much. I said, "well something alway falls out of thin air for me, without much effort...so by now I know how it works". I think that's my strong manifestation thing that works for me, "finding work no matter what". My dad has the same thing happen for him, he has never struggled getting a job, something always falls into his lap...which I find really interesting. As it turned out, last week I went to my other job where I freelance, I had never been actually "to the place" and I was there because there was an "issue" with a student, so at first I thought it would be all doom and gloom, but nup, no issue and then I just happened to mention, "Oh I do this" and they were like "great, we're booking you in for the whole semester" - he he! Problem sorted! Anyway, I digressed...really inspiring and gives me much hope |

Finished it... Cool article. I resonate with the choosing Joy bit. I had a similar resolution this last New Year's, actually. At the moment I'm trying to see the difference between what I call "will" and fear. It seems to me that will is a powerful tool that can be used to create change. I wonder, though, what place it has in a joyful path. Joyful creation? Makes sense, though I wonder if I need to get my will into balance. I should remember that power and playfulness, and harmonious co-existence with others, must all go together. "Will" and playfulness... hmm... yeah... I'm feeling it Sorry! I'm talking to myself Kudos on your awesome post, I really resonate with it, and I think you're helping a lot of people with your example. Love n light |

For me the fear of unemployment I had seemed to be like yours - it wasn't some off some imagined fear-based reality. My fear of unemployment was a result of an experience I had unemployed 10 years ago when that experience did indeed lead me to feel like I had become a broken man. So, to go through the same path as I did 10 years ago, and to put into practice all I've learned since and therefore to finally let go of that huge fear that had being hanging over me all this time is quite exhilarating.

BTW, I tried to do TT last week on the fear of embarrassment to let go of all that stored stuff. However, I couldn't remember the specific steps to do it, where I was supposed to be in relation to me in the timeline. I remember the general gist of it, but not the specific steps. Is there a brief cheat sheet that I can use to remind myself of the steps? I'm sure once I can get the outline, I'll be able to do it myself. Quote:
Therefore, ummm, sorry for all that barfing I've done and will do as a result of this transition.

I read the term in "On Becoming an Alchemist" where it mentioned the Nazi concept of "triumph of the will". The darkworkery thing seems to put the will above all things - possibly you could say it's the ego, or connected with it. A lightworkery way, though, would be to use it as a tool without giving yourself up to it. I wish there were more info on it. It's just a force I've been noticing in myself and wanting to learn to handle recently. Quote:

There are two kinds of will. There is the will to act which stems from desire and then there's willpower. The first rises from the core self and I'd usually associate it with a feeling of certainty and passion; there's no question that this is the path I want to, indeed must, follow in order to be true to who I am. Willpower, which is what people are usually referring to when they say will, is what holds things together. It's what you tap into when your reserves are running low. It could be likened to lubricant within an engine, or the bolts that keep the frame of a car in place. It's what helps you keep your focus when you'd otherwise veer away from your destination. It's a very powerful tool if it's used sparingly, the key word being sparingly. Most efforts at discipline fail because they rely heavily on willpower from beginning to end when that's not what it's meant for. You can't use a hammer to do a wrench's job, so to speak. How does it keep you on target? If my passion is waning I'll use the moment of clarity it provides to fan the fire. If I'm approaching my limits I'll use it to keep myself in motion while I strengthen my resolve. An iron will by itself is mere stubbornness but when combined with other disciplines, particularly in the realm of emotional control, it makes you unstoppable. While we're on different ends of the spectrum I imagine its basic purpose is the same for you, you're just putting a different fuel into the engine and so your subjective experience is altered. This is something I need to explore further myself.

I have a similar fear and a similar thing happens to me, I always find something when I need it. Like a part time job that fits in perfectly with my other part time work and art markets.. Also it's looking more and more like I'll be able to live off my artwork eventually, so I'm hoping for something that I can fit that in well with that.. Happiness lies within oneself, but if we are all connected together wouldn't each of us have to help each other out to feel such happiness? I never look at happiness and "oneself" this way before. Anyways, way to go Kings! Keep it up! I decided I will join the "lightworker" side and let my fears remain, but I will not let them act upon me. :> |
