You can find Walden for free, where he recorded his experiment to live alone in the woods.

Yeah, he was a pretty inspirational figure. He inspired me a few years back. Someday I want a cabin in the woods. But I at least want it to have Wi-Fi.

I've been to his cabin many times. It's right on a lake that people routinely swim at nowadays. His cabin was literally one small room. I wouldn't mind doing the same thing myself.

interesting sidenote: the cabin belonged to Emerson who was strongly influenced by the Vedas.
