For my results, I'm going to bend the rules of the process a little and say both Joy and Love are tied for #1. 1. Joy 1. Love 2. Focus 3. Acceptance 4. Awareness 5. Brilliance 6. Abundance 7. Wisdom 8. Vision What each of those mean to me: 1. Joy On its most basic level, it means choosing the better feeling thought or focusing on what feels better. On a higher level it means following my bliss. Other values I'd chosen but "rolled" into joy: Fun, cheerfulness, happiness, playfulness, enjoyment, bliss, optimism, passion, desire, enthusiasm. 1. Love Choose love at every crossroad and celebrate it wherever it beckons. Choose what grants joy and freedom to self and others. Offering my best energies. I see all of these as expressions of love: Compassion, fairness, appreciation, honesty, intimacy, kindness, openness, freedom, and integrity. 2. Focus Offering continued attention and energy to what is chosen, until it has manifested. Includes: Discipline and self-control (control over my focus, mind, and thoughts). 3. Acceptance The state of allowing and non-resistance - not resisting or pushing against anything ("What you resist, persists."). 4. Awareness Self knowledge and understanding, expanding consciousness, awareness of feelings and motives, being present in the moment. Includes: Consciousness, mindfulness, presence, and sensitivity. 5. Brilliance Striving to live up to my full potential, applying and mastering my highest understandings, being the best I can be. Includes: Mastery, transcendence, and growth. 6. Abundance Aiming to reach the state of experiencing my ability to attract/create anything that I desire (love, money, freedom, time, etc.). 7. Wisdom The application of knowledge, intelligence, and understanding for the achievement of highest results. Includes: Intelligence, practicality, effectiveness, understanding, efficiency, knowledge, and economy. 8. Vision Seeing the bigger picture, far-reaching vision (seeing possible consequences of actions into the future), clarity, intuition. Includes: Intuition, inspiration, insightfulness, clarity, and clear-mindedness. Last edited by designAlignment; 04-11-2011 at 05:52 AM. |

1. Happiness (12 votes) 2. Fun (11 votes) 3. Desire (10 votes) 4. Contribution (8 votes) 5. Growth (7 votes) 6. Power (7 votes) 7. Imagination (6 votes) 8. Freedom (5 votes) 9. Creativity (5 votes) 10. Certainty (3 votes) 11. Courage (3 votes) 12. Discipline (1 votes) 13. Focus (0 votes) This is my 5th time doing this exercise, and I blogged about it in August 2009. It's cool comparing results back then to now. I notice that out of the 5 times I've done this, Love has only been up there once at #12 (last). Hmmmm. Contribution moved up, so that's a plus. |
