Hello khushi. Whenever you get a job interview call, before entering to office or before going to the appointment place, take deep air and exhale it. Do this for 5 mins. Then tell yourself you can do it. You are going for the job you love. If negative thoughts are coming just don't give them any answer. Ignore negative ones and welcome positive ones. There's nothing to be worry about. It happens with people. Now you will correct your mistake. You can improve your self-confidence. Talk with your family members, ask your friends and practice this daily. You will become better at it. For interview thing you should be confident and motivated. You are! Does this help you? |

Try working on your communication skills. Look at the way this message is typed out, it's very hard to take you seriously. No one is going to take you seriously, on a job interview or anywhere else if you continue to communicate this way. The first time I looked at this post I questioned whether or not it was someones idea of a prank. When you have a job you are representing that company, you provide a personality, a "face" if you will, for that company and they want you to represent them well. As an exercise try using proper spelling when you post here from now on. It does not have to be perfect but at least make an attempt, most computers automatically highlight any misspellings. This is going to help you be more effective in dealing with people in your interview and everywhere else in life too. Another point, i think meditation is a good idea if used ling term, but I think what Federer is suggesting is likely going to raise your level of excitement and make you more nervous if done directly before the interview. Try sitting in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and breathing for 10-20 minutes several times before your interview. try once every other day if you have never done this before. Do it the night before the day of your interview. DO NOT DO IT THE DAY OF YOUR INTERVIEW. I hope this helps and good luck. |

Well I don't really know you specifically, I know you say you are shy, so why not buy a book on increasing confidence. I really think the two things I already suggested would be a good start though, fully type out words, and learning meditation. I think you should should take some time with those two before moving on. People often just accumulate information quickly without putting into practice, so just concentrate on those two for a little while. Go to the main page of the site, on the left panel a short way from the top is a search bar. Type in 30 day trial and read the first entry there, the one by Steve Pavlina.
