Creating value is the only path to success. Your success is measured by the value you create; in every field. You are good husband and father if you bring value in the relationship. A famous writer, blogger if you bring value in your posts. Generate money if you create value. Sometimes people doesn’t get this. The think it’s luck if a 20 year boy invents the next diggs, facebook, or napster. Also, how many people complain about the fat paycheck of sport players? But how much value those people create? A lot, a lot of value and money circulating. What’s your value? |

I am working in a trading business, and I deliver my main value through that lovely career I also like to inspire people to live consciously, so I communicate, I blog and I feel great about this channel of delivering value too~ My main income comes from my job, which means I am not delivering enough value through the other area, so I think I will try to push myself harder on that, but overall I feel quite balanced with my two "output channels” that I am transiting myself slowly, step by step for now |

I learned the concept of creating value in one of my business classes. I've been trying to figure out a way to create value via the internet so that I can have an online business. Just haven't figured out anything that I've been passionate enough about to follow through on. I am currently feeling bad that I am not creating much value for my present employer. I've been going through a lot of emotional upheaval since I started this job and I don't feel as productive as I was in the past. They are not getting what I know I'm capable of, or that I was capable of in the past. And I think the hardest thing for me right now where value is concerned, has been me asking what value do I have as an individual in a relationship? As a wife, mother, friend, sister, etc. It's affecting my self esteem. I don't feel very valueable after being cheated on, unheard, and left for greener pastures. And I've been in such emotional turmoil just trying to come out of the pit that I haven't had much to offer in any of my relationships. I can only hope that my trials will be of help and valueable to someone else in the future. |

| Value can be created every day, but it's sometimes impossible to see how our value helps others in everyday life. Time can sometimes show that the experiences we considered bad, can have their own value, if we can see it.

I think it's important to remember that value can be relative, depending on what you do. What is so valuable about facebook? It's a website that provides a way for people to interact with others. But there are many others. Myspace for example. In the end, facebook became more popular because people enjoyed it more, but it is hard to predict what people enjoy. So it's easy to say, create value and you'll be successful, but how to predict what others will find valuable can be tricky. |

Exactly! Creating value is not easy or predictable. Facebook is a typical example; it's valuable because people love to be part of other people life (look Big Brother for example). Everyone has potentially value to express but it's not easy to convey the messagge or more simply most of the people don"t know or want to create it because trapped in the 9-5 life (I am so I have some experience...)

everyone has value to add, sometimes you just need to take the time to find it. Having value ive always known to be great when creating affirmations. If you have a value to add to society, is a great motivator and means you will be more likely to achieve your dreams. Im studying to be a vet so I can add value to the animal world |

We have the opportunity to add value every day by the way we carry ourselves in the world ( being a role model, showing dignity ), our attitude ( positive ), the way we treat others ( smiling is the simplest way, in my opinion, to add value to someone's day.) * Yesterday, the simple act of taking a cab turned into a ride of laughter and positivity, thanks to a cab driver who was " collecting smiles" and adding value to the life of his customers by sharing his good humor and warm, positive disposition. |

I want to become a futures trader, but as for now I'm kicking myself by being unable to raise the #$%@ cash. In order to get started I need at least $10.000, an Interactive Brokers account, an orderbook scalping tool such as ZeroLineTrader, market depth data, and then trade a financial product that isn't overleveraged for the amount of capital in the account (more than 4:1 is suicidal). I'd like to get started with a mini FTSE-MIB index future (contract size around 20.000€, with 8.000€ would be less than 3:1 leverage which is safe) Last edited by Yosako; 12-30-2010 at 11:56 PM.

I like what Leadership had to say on taking time to find it. I'm at this everyday and it is lingering subject in my life. As I grow I have more to touch life with in my own unique way and contribute by living out my purpose FULLY.

Life isn't just creating value... it's also storing and leveraging the value you've created. If you are storing your saved value in U.S. dollars, you are being really stupid and should invest in gold or silver instead. You don't have to keep creating value. You can mooch off value created by others (i.e. welfare or living with your parents), or you can create a lot of value quickly and then just coast on that. For example, you could be a movie star for a few years, make a lot of money, and then just use that money to support yourself for the rest of your life without creating anything new. |
