| NFL Videos: Super Power If you have any spare time, watch this video. To give off a little: he's a man who seems to have two completely separate identities inside him. |

boom shakalaka? I honestly really think it was corney how he looks at himself as the wolverine, a comic book character. This is real life. I love all the fantasy stuff and sci fi roles. But really? "I'm an X-men character" is just really bleh. |

Corny? That's the least expected word I would expect someone to use to describe him. It's not like you see many men thinking that they are comic heroes. I think it's pretty cool. I even believe that his wish to emulate Wolverine sort of gives him some more passion and power. You know how strong believing can be. |

Two separate identities? To me the two seem to be about the same. A world where getting a ball at a certain point is the most important thing on earth is not that much different from a world where one is Wolverine.... Nevertheless a fine example of the fact that a human creates his own meaning of life I do have difficulty relating to the meaning that he gives to it, though. For starters, this whole sport is just way too aggressive for me. |

By two different identities, I mean... - Off the field: mild, quiet, balanced. - On the field: aggressive, violent, loud, in the center of attention. See where I'm going? I also think he's a great character because of his leadership. In the video you can see how he psyches up his team mates, how everybody talks about him being a leader, how when he is missing from the game, the team is not the same, etc. You don't know this but after being on the same team for his whole career, he was forced to leave to another team. You would think that it would take some time to adjust with the new team. Think again. This guy was immediately the new leader of the new team. The previous leader was a follower now. No matter how violent or aggressive the game is, he is a man to look up to. |

Yes, they say that he is mild, quiet and balanced off the field, but that did not really become very clear to me in the video. You are right that the ability to take leadership is certainly something to admire.

That was freaking awesome. He's like a respectable, nice guy, who doesn't even cuss, but meet him on the field and he's freakin' insane. Makes sense though, to excel at any sport you have to almost turn into another person while you're out there.
