I just went and saw it after you posted it. I think its a very good movie, the main character is awesome hes very courageous. I cant split between rudy and return of the king. Return of the king is to me about courage and unity and the power it has to overcome material things no matter how big it is. |

In what area do you want to be inspired? I get inspired by so many movies. I saw somebody posted Rocky which is a really inspiring movie for me, in terms of training and imporving my body. Then we have "Catch me if you can" a movie that inspires me to learn more, and becoming better. The movie "Into the wild" is also inspiring in its own way. I hope you understod the point. There are different kinds of inspirations. A person who dont train, would probably be less inspired by the rocky films, than a person who trains regulary, ect. To get really inspired, you have to be able to relate to the movie somewhat, omp. The serial "lie to me" makes me inspired to master bodylanguage. Entourage inspires me to master women skills, training, and becoming rich. Here are some of the movies that inspired me the most. Usually the most inspiring movies for me are "real life stories". 1. Catch me if you can 2. 300 3. Batman begins 4. rocky 5. 21 6. Casino Royale 7. Oceans eleven 8. xXx 9. Blow 10. Yes man 11. Eurotrip 12. Fight club 13. A River Runs Through It 14. Matchstick men Oh, i feel i could make the list go on forever, so i better quite now. |

The Matrix trilogy. A Beautiful Mind (how the heck is that inspiring, KV? Well, it shows that even a severely delusional schizophrenic survived his torment. If he can make it, I can too 300 (Tonight we dine in Hell? Best movie line ever.) Life Is Beautiful (Heart wrenching story about a Jewish father who keeps his son sheltered from horror amidst a Nazi concentration camp by using the power of imagination) The Pursuit of Happyness (Single father raises his little boy in San Francisco, makes his way up from living on the streets to... ah no spoilers here) There are many others but those are the best I could think of. |

My favorites: -Tombstone: some great lines in this movie from Doc Holiday -Fightclub: a guy movie for sure but has many layers and meanings -The Matrix: an obvious choice but i see something new everytime I see it -The Jason Bourne Trilogy: makes you feel like you can take on the world if you are motivated enough. They are working on a fourth film as well -300: classic movie with historical significance."Lay down your arms...COME AND TAKE THEM!" -America a story of us: a TV series that shows the struggle of the United States to be born from our independence from England, our move west, the civil war and beyond. It shows how are able to overcome tremendous adversity when we want something badly enough. Truly Amazing |

You really like violent movies, Mr Anderson. I did not find any of those inspiring, personally, but whatever works for you! Bourne was sort of inspiring to me at the end, but the primary intent of the film was to look cool and to be a thrilling action film.

Rudy is the most inspirational movie I've ever seen. Pursuit of Happyness is up there as well. Hell, now that you asked this I might just type into youtube "inspirational movies" to see what comes up! I bet there's some good clips on there.

The Shawshank Redemption for sure. I went to jail in 1996 for a fight i had in 1994. So i could relate to the incarceration aspect of the film, but where it really impacts me is 'Red's' (Morgan Freeman) character and what he says at the end of the film when after he reads the letter from Andy in Fort Hancock, TX. Hope. The one thing that has brought me to the highest highs and losing it, to the lowest of lows. I remember being very hungry at night in jail and having to risk being caught with bread i was sneaking back to my cube in my socks just so I could eat something after 8pm. Luckily, I met an illiterate inmate and i suddenly began reading and writing letters for illiterate inmates and that is how I went from having nothing to snack on....without it being considered contraband....to charging soups and cookies and candy bars for the pages i was reading and writing. I went from starving to now giving snacks away and I didnt even have to join a gang to survive. I used my intelligence to survive jail and used my intelligence NEVER to go back since. |
