At times when i'm alone i like to think about reality. Why does it exists the way it exists? And when i encountered the concept of Subjective Reality(SR) I just adapted It for a while. I started to believe that all that i see has the possibility of taking place within my own consciousness. I think i started to believe this without 100% understanding of SR. So now i'm stuck with some limiting beliefs and practices. I'm not that good at using my Power(Self Discipline and courage), specially when i encounter situations where i require self discipline beyond my comfort zone, i use my believes to escape from my those situations and afterwards to forgive myself for not facing and dealing with them. For example when i have to do something i think "if it is all just a dream, what is the point of doing all this the best way possible, all this will someday perish.... so why not just do it, without pushing my self." I have to add that i have not transcended all my fears, i.e I have not adapted the belief of subjective reality. I just tend to use it as an excuse to escape from work. I need to get rid of this way of living. I need a better understanding of this belief, and i need your help to do this. Thanks. |

An important thing to be aware of is the distinction between what you innately feel about subjective reality and what others have said/written about it. The innate part of it is always there provided you allow yourself to be aware of it and as that awareness increases so shall your comfort zone expand. There is no issue about 'adapting' it since if anything it's already hard-wired into you. While you're getting a handle on it I can suggest reading 'The Nature of Personal Reality' by Jane Roberts/ "Seth". |

Subjective reality is only one perspective. If it serves you then use it, if not dump the idea; at least for a period of time. From the description you gave it is not helping you, it is providing you with excuses not to push yourself, and therefore isn't a good perspective at the moment. |
