There's only 2.5 hours of today left here.

23:30 pm Hm well spent 2 hours on the chat to a friend in a 'bad place' and think we got somewhere and the chat ended with the friend typing a Sun Shine emoticon (with no knowledge of this topic at all - and which they very rarely use) so I guess that is a 'shine'

i have simply chosen to remain positive and the find the good and humor in everything.

unless something really, really ghastly happens...it can make one almost giddy...and i think it is a mood lifter to others.

then some may think i am a grinning idiot too...but i will still be shining!

I am going to shine today by affirming others. I love to encourage people. We are surrounded by so much negativity that it can be like a breath of fresh air to get some genuine, sincere praise. I love looking into people and seeing the power and potential that is there, and reflecting some of that back to them. It can unlock gifts in people that they never knew they had - and I get a real buzz out of that!

It's 5:00 am here and I REALLY need to sleep soon. I'm going to add some more value in this forum until my girlfriend comes home from work (nightshift - she's a nurse) and I can "take care" of her.

I think that's a pretty good way to shine today.

Yeah, I love it as well... It's been a huge struggle for me... on the one hand knowing that I can do anything I want to do, and on the other hand hearing my moms voice telling me "hmmm are you sure you want to do that? Are you sure that this is something you can do? Maybe aim a bit less high, so you don't fall so far either"....

She finally shuts up now, thank god
