Question acting skills

Hi.

I just started creating video files to help people learn a language (I am talking about my mother tongue, it is not English). I am wondering how I can improve my work and have a deeper effect on learners, so I really appreciate any advice about sites, books, video, and so forth that addresses acting skills.

Specifically, what acting skills do you picture you would like most to develop or master and specifically what would having that new acting skill allow you to do or be that you cannot now do or be?

I study improvisational acting. I did/do Toastmasters too. If I could study only one, I'd be acting. I find it a more fundamental/higher level skill than public speaking. In short, improv fundamentally changed how I think about social interactions. Improv is not just this stupid/goofy comedy thing some people seem to have the image of.

Acting and roleplaying skills provided me with a big communications skills boost.

Books: Impro by Keith Johnstone (he's a teacher himself)
Website: The Improv Wiki
(Check the article on "Status". Search the page. Link at the bottom of it is an article about how teachers use improv skills.)
