That is very 'vague' a question. Can you give some precisions?

Blah, you skeptics. Look, I am planning my weekly meals. I like having an extended dinner with good conversation (read: sit and talk about how wonderful I am and how lucky you are to be able to be in my presence.)

So, I have Wed, Thurs, and Sat available. What should I sign you up for?

Is the purpose of this planning aligned with my values? On Saturday I have a date. If you pay me a plane ticket to the US you can have Wednesday. Btw, why would it cost me $5?

Oh, and how is an "extended dinner" thirty minutes?? An extended dinner lasts for hours. Thirty minutes, that's eating a snack in a hurry.

Seriously? I gotta spend 30 min listening? That is mucho extended.

(I joke. Need to play lots tonight. That opposed to throwing things or crying like a baby. Must fit the stereotypes after all)

Listening, huh? I don't think you'd be listening much anyway. You'd be too busy explaining what a great guy you are and how lucky I am to meet you.

On the other hand, that would help me practice my spoken English. Could be win/win.

(I'm playing too. I like playing.)

Girl has jokes! Thanks for playing along. It has been a night filled with interesting situations. One suicide threat by someone and a hunt down, son wants to know exactly-EXACTLY- how air is split between each nostril when breathing in (he is under the age of 7), roomate needs help explaining the birds and bees situation to his 8 year old daughter, and a good friend thought vanishing and faking his death was the best option to deal with his business debt problem.

So, play is a good call for me right now. Now, what is this plane ticket going to cost me?

Not to forget about the mean text message from the ex.

You have a son? How cute! I love the questions that children ask. They're always VERY interesting! Like the nostril question. I mean, seriously, have you never asked yourself that? I have. As an adult, I mean. It's really interesting.

(taking a pause from joking)

Questions children ask and things they say BLOW me away. Man, I marvel at what they come up with. Here is an exchange from my son the day after christmas:

Apparently my kid is an artist now.
Him "Dad I am glad you got me artist tools because I needed different ways to explain stuff so mom understands."
Me: "She told you this?"
Him: "Kinda but I knew that already. She says I have a brain shaped like yours. I have to use colors sometimes."
Me-trying to say stuff without saying: "So pretty much you have to use crayons and coloring books for people sometimes to get things? Draw them a picture?"
Him: "That is what I just said Dad. You sure your brain is like mine?"
Me: "Yeah, kinda convinced of it now."
Him: "Well, anyway, you found a girl to marry yet?"
Me: "No."
Him: "Maybe you need some art tools. I will let you borrow mine."
(And on the way out the door he told his mom to give me a piece of paper from his sketch book and some pencils so I could, "Get a married girl to have kids with."
I shrugged. So he mixed things up a bit. It is more fun sometimes.

I am not young. Oh, I was assuming.

I am waiting for some server scripts to finish running (yeah tech nerd stuff).

I am also planning my wedding. Though, it might help if I actually had a lady in waiting. Hmmm. Dratz, back to the goal setting worksheet again. I knew I left something out.

I know perfectly well what server scripts are, thank you very much. I used to write some myself a few years ago. Do you assume I have no clue about computers because I am a woman, huh, huh? Do I smell some sexism here?!

Nice but no. I did not infer that you would not know. I used the tech nerd to say what you might be thinking...as in a joke on me
