I will give you a practical application.
A very close family friend was born in Romania. He immediately joined the mafia as his family was inter-connected. He progressed high enough to be in bed with half the politicians in his country. He never got his hands dirty, he always hired other to do his bidding. Shortly after moving to Australia, he then married a spiritual woman and start doing yoga and meditation classes. At every moment in his life up until that point in time he concentrated on only helping himself in the highest regard. He developed himself both financially and spiritually to a point where he even believed he was talking directly to God. After 20 years he had a severe attack of arthritis in his joints, to the point where he couldn't even walk. He believed it was the cause of his prior sins here on earth and the fact that he never helped others. He underwent a change in lifestyle and is now what I consider a Lightworker. He helps people in any chance he gets. Gives charity, developed natural medicines to help with cell growth and arthritis symptoms, and still continues his spiritual practices.

He has affectively made friends on both sides of the line. He has more business power and influence in certain matters than anybody else I know. He deals with both sides. He is however working to exclusively dedicate the rest of his life to 'lightworking' once he sells his business. This person is more spiritual and more knowledgeable than nearly anybody you could point a finger at. More experience was gained than somebody who was fixed to one side of the polarity or the other. At his current stage, I would neither call him a darkworker or a lightworker.

Call him what you may, lived an extremely fulfilling life nonetheless.

After several months, he responds: Oh.

I love it! You have to love it! And to top it off it's an edited response. How many ways can I say oh... let me count them...

My favorite concept after reading this was the "intention" behind the actions. That's where I notice if I'm being devious or direct. Many times I'm about to say something or do something and there is a feeling that comes with it of being justified and right, but it doesn't feel the same as glowing and happy. It doesn't feel like a celebration of consciousness. That's when I like to pause before expressing. I'll notice the concepts in my head continue to grow like a flower, incorporating this and that, and when finally they are mature and ready to be expressed, there is a feeling of shear joy to them.

I think all expressions are perfectly valid, just like you can eat a green raspberry or a red and juicy one. I just like the flavor of the red and juicy ones! MMMMMMmmmmmm! They are sooooo good!!!!
Aaron, I have always deeply appreciated this response. I don't know that I ever repped you for it, but I will now.

And I very much appreciate the responses this thread prompted. I've come a long way in two years, revisiting my old written work is a great way to review my own personal development.

I'm no genious, and I don't want to be. I dropped a LOT of impacted energies since this was originally posted, and I find my essence is the same: it just travels lighter, now, with less baggage to schlep on the journey.

I also learned / remembered much more about Lightworking.

Particular thanks to Midnite, a real treasure of a friend.
