1 If you were offered $1,000,000 right now to have your mother die one day sooner than she otherwise would have, would you take it? What about one year? Using this logic can you place a monetary value on your loved ones’ life?

2 I’ve got a used outdoor garbage can that I want to throw out. What do I put it in?

3 If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it
considered a hostage situation?

1. What if you were offered $5 million dollars for your mother to die one second earlier than she would normally die. Would you take that? What about a 100th of a second earlier than normal?

What about a millionth of a second earlier than normal for that money? What about $500 million dollars for her to die a billionth of a second earlier? Would you take a billion dollars for her to live a day longer than she would have? Would you take a million dollars for your mother to live an extra 50 years longer than she would have?

1/ No, money isn't worth that to me

2/ garbage that nobody can see?

3/ depends whether they kill themself or kill one of severage egos

4/ probably everyone is

5/ both

6/ because most other words are shorter

7/ because it originated from a different language eg. latin perhaps?
