I fail to see what the younger generation has that gives them the advantage. As adults, we have the advantage of experience.
Bingo.

If you were on a deserted Island for years, then yes, eventually you would get lonely. What I meant was that if you call yourself a loner, but feel lonely when you are alone, generally, not just occasionally lonely, then you can't really be a loner, since loners like being alone! Alot of loners are considered recluses as well. I guess you don't define it the same as I do.
Yes we all need human interaction, but loners seem to need it less than most people do.

Yes "more than with people" not "completely without people". Are you telling me if you were a loner stuck on a desert island for a few years you wouldn't get lonely?

Ok I took what you meant and what you said as two different things:

Just because you're a loner doesn't mean you can't ever feel lonely.

No as I define them as two separate things though it doesn't mean someone cannot be a loner and a recluse.

Is that the level where you think you're better than everyone else?

I probably didn't articulate it well enough.

Also, I may have misread your original statement. I thought you meant that being alone made you feel lonely, which is why I said what I said. Of course loners can get lonely at times...but probably not half as much as what non-loners do.

Jokes aren't allowed Brendannz...read the forum rules. One must be serious at all times or banishment will occur. If one does break the rules and make a joke, one must use the appropriate emoticon to express this, lest causing someone else to take it too seriously!
