Default Personality Disorders

I'm looking to get a list of personality disorders. I only have a few so far.

Narcissism
Sociopathic
Inferiority complex
Superiority complex
Napoleon complex
Messianic complex
God complex

If you know of any others please post them and i'll add them to my list.

I found this list of positive/negative personality traits for reference
Positive and Negative Human Traits

Some of them are a matter of balance, selfishness/selflessnes, but overall pretty good.
If you know of any other good lists like that, please post them.

Default 7 Deadly Sins

It seems to me that the seven deadly sins would make a good reference for you.
  • Pride (fits with Narcissism)
  • Envy (aka Jealousy)
  • Gluttony
  • Lust
  • Anger
  • Greed
  • Sloth

These are things we all need to be careful of because, when we allow them to get out of control, they can each take over our personality and put us out of touch with where we need to be spiritually.

Are you looking for a clinical list or to understand what people consider to be pathological traits. If the latter, it's an interesting question because I expect you could learn a tremendous amount about a person's self-perception from their answer. Mine answer is there is only one:

Quote:
Egocentric: Mistakenly identifies the "self" as the body and mind, along with the experiences, thoughts and memories that arise through them.
And boy, and do I have that one bad!

I don't care for generic overall labels. I'm looking for specific labels.

For example, if you hear about a certain situation, you ask, "what's their problem?"

To illustrate:
A friend of mine talks down to his mother.

What's his problem?
What traits can you place on a person like that?

If you're wanting an official list just check out the DSM-IV:

Psych Central - DSM-IV Mental Disorders Index

Frotteurism anyone?
