Man is the only animal that laughs and weeps, for he is the only animal that is struck with the difference between what things are and what they ought to be. - William Hazlitt I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody. - Bill Cosby |

Wait! I have another one! I don't know who said this, (or the post above either....) But this is my favorite quote and I learned its truth the hard way.... Take this to heart all, I could save you a lot of heartache. Quote: "Opposites attract, but in the long run they repel." |

"Who said it could not be done? And what great victories has he to his credit which qualify him to judge others accurately?" - Napoleon Hill in his Law of Success book. The book actually opens with that quote and every few pages there is another great quote like that on the side.

Honesty is a function of character, and character is not something that is easily changed.. I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok. They know me here. A truly open mind will seriously consider all points of view, even those with which it strongly disagrees for there may be a grain of truth in even the most ridiculous of opinions. I read, I interpret, I think, I criticize, I oppose, I listen, I write, I question, I reply, I quote, I tell, I name, I discuss, I interpolate.., I learn, I teach, I live, therefore I am. AND THE FUNNIEST ONE... You have one advantage over me I must admit, you can kiss my A$$ and i cant... LOL.. |
