I think im getting rusty posting in forums. I forgot what i was suppose to say. Anyway, i just stumbled upon this sketch by Jack Dorsey and thought of it as... Wow The First Twitter Sketch - Creattica Daily As i mentioned in my hello intro, i just recently quit my job and now pursuing some sort of soul searching. I feel good this past week, not as shocked as i was during the first week that i was unemployed, reason probably because i now know what i need to do. Ive been working for 8 years, doing something i love, but at the same time not feeling that what im doing is right. Working with my previous job as an Art Director gave me the chance to think and pitch my ideas whenevers necessary. Last year, i have come up with an idea which i think is a good business. I really dont know how good this idea is. Maybe its worth a million, maybe its worth nothing. But i have a gut feeling really, that this is something worth looking at. Thats why twitters sketch made me think about it. Now my questions are: 1.) Who should i present this to? Can i just prepare(sort of like a sketch too, in a very creative way) of an idea? 2.) I recently just gone through Richard Bransons blog and he has this PitchTV challenge which you can present an idea to investors, but noted participants that since pitch is going public, we need to make sure those ideas have patents. So i read this patent stuffs and at least it would take 24 months to process and the cost is a lot. You also need a running prototype for it. Is there a workaround on this? Thanks. Really appreciate the help. btw... This is really not what im busy about at the moment. Im working on some project now not related to this but its quite fun and exciting as well. But this idea keeps coming out and i just want some closure with it. |
