What do you pack? I wrote a list for preparation and I ended up not being able to put everything in one Hiking backpack.. Heavy.

Money doesn't equal food, or shelter. Money is a way of motivating other people to give you food. There are other reasons people will give you food, besides money. ie, they're just friendly people who are happy to help out a stranger, you do some work for them around their house or business, you help out on their farm. Same goes for people giving you shelter. In some places you don't need shelter. In Hawai'i, for example, I slept on beaches with just a sleeping bag for a month or so. Not in the rainy part. In some places you can also live off the food in the wild.

If you really DO want to make money - how could you NOT? There's always a way to make money, where there are people. You can find a job, you can make crafts and set out a blanket in the park/town square where people can come and buy them, you can trade your skills to people who can use them in exchange for money. Same things you do when you're in one place, right?

I pack a single change of clothes in a regular school backpack. Nothing else.

Yes, go out.. if you believe, if you allow.. the universe will support you in whatever you do.. you can create abundance anywhere..

I'm actually in a way doing this right now.. however I like comfort so I have hotels, money, computers ,cell phones kinda.. and even while vacationing I'm still making money.. I think I made $40 today (for doing nothing).. woot!

Since I read this blog recently (it's about the PCT.. a trail that is 2600 miles) this guy used a iphone to upload photos and post to a word press blog.. (you may also want to check out travbuddy.com may be the software you could use)
