Ever since I was a child I loved The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono. For years I dismissed it as idealism, but increasingly, as I've researched permaculture and other restorative agriculture systems, I see that Giono packed some incredible wisdom in this simple and quick story. I wrote a review, which is here. I hope all of you will take the time to read this amazing tale. Then go plant some trees. Best, -Andrew |
