Jesus Christ, possibly the greatest light worker of all time. And his most loyal disciple Judas, the dark worker. Remember, Judas's betrayal of Jesus was an act of love and divine loyalty. Jesus asked him because it was God's plan. Both men wanted the same thing, justice for the Israelites, and ultimately justice for the world. Jesus believed the foundation of the house was the spirit, and the house the body. He believed he could save the world with love. Judas however, believed that the house was the spirit and the foundation the body. Could Jesus have betrayed Judas? No. Some may say Judas had the harder job of the two. As you can see the dark workers don't get much credit. |

Well, Brutha, if you read "The Last Temptation" (for example), you'll see that the novel actually presents a more plausible reason why Judas would have "betrayed" Jesus for a handful of coins, after having stuck with Jesus through thick & thin for so long.

And why should a modern novel present a more credible view than a book, highly controversial as it is, whose texts had at least been written ~100 years after the event? Would I be credible if I wrote a novel about the motives of Gaius Iulius Caesar, as long as I managed to invent a good psychological explanation for his actions? Well, perhaps Jack Chick is plausible after all... |

I don't necessarily believe that everything in the bible happenend. On the other hand it makes sense to assume for the sake of the argument that the bible is right when you talk about biblical character. Otherwise you have nothing to talk about except fictional stories. |

Oh, for. Isn't the very existence of Christianity dependent upon the idea that their savior died on the cross? Therefore, Judas was necessary to that. Furthermore, what if he *knew* what he was doing, and what if he and Jesus had this thing worked out between them. You can't know what people were thinking 2000 years ago any more than you can really know that Bill and Hillary didn't have an "arrangement" that allowed for Monica. Come on. |

It's not his fault. Similar to some followers of Christ who denied him 3 times and said Loved him 3 times too. ^^ An interesting debate, still we'll never know, we were never there. | |
