Default how many times have i figured out my purpose???

i think i must have thought i found my true purpose a zillion times. in the same manner, how many times did i REALLY believe i found my soul mate? maybe at least 20. im not even 30 years old yet. but i thought MANY times i found my purpose. made me cry and all that jazz. but then time goes by, and i start to think, ..... nah, i dont think thats it yet...... so i have a new conclusion about my purpose. the more i focus on trying to find it, the closer i get. every epiphany i have about it, i get closer to finding it. and if i take action to begin DOING it every step of the way, i also get closer to doing it. at some point, after all the fine tuning, i will be doing it. its like trying to get to the top of a mountain with a blindfold on. when you feel your footsteps angling upward, you feel like you GOT IT!! but that's not really "it", you are going in the right direction though. so just keep going in what seems to be the right direction and you will eventually get a feel for where the path actually lies, and THEN you can more quickly get to the top.

Default change is the game

the life purpose can change depending on the time and place.

there's nothing necessarily 'fixed' about it.

one interacts in a very complex world, your skills and abilities mould to whatever opportunities present themselves at that juncture.

exploring the nature of success with Malcolm Gladwell's 'Outliers' book is a good place to start.
