Default Darkwork and lightwork = Shadows and Vorlons

For you geeks out there. Thoughts?

I don't have much to offer other than B5 was great in it's day (but then I was just 15!)

The first thing that comes to mind is:

Vorlon = "Who are you"

Shadow = "What do you want"

Just adding my random thoughts to the mix

p.s. "Claim victory in your heart and the Universe will follow" (sorry, I'm a geek )

Does it matter how you define things?

"We are starstuff, we are the universe made manifest, trying to figure itself out."

Default Facination with Duality

I really enjoyed the Babylon 5 series and felt that the writer/producer J Michael Straczynski was really trying to tell a modern myth with all the trappings and hidden meanings. I found that most episodes were thought provoking and usually could be appiled to any timeline including ours in the way we are as human beings and how we play in this enormous playground we call reality.
That being said, I find it a little disturbing that so many on this site focus on "lightworkers and darkworkers". I understand that Steve Pavlina has established this nomenclature to express different types but too often I notice that many of you invest too much imagination in these two aspects of duality. This is not a sleight on your inquiry as many others go far deeper into their fantasies but what is the aim of this question? Do you have a real question or are you bored and just want to talk about the show on this site? No answer is incorrect or inappropriate but this is a site about understanding who and what I am and why I am here as well as positive intentions.

So I put a question on you, What does your question mean to you? How will any response confirming or denying your inquiry enable you to grow in your own understanding of the 2 powerful aspects known as Action and Reaction, Holy Affirming and Holy Denying, Good and Evil? Can you see these in yourself and others? How will this help you in your quest for understanding?

Good luck in your quest and by all means respond to my inquiries.

G'kar was always my favorite. 'cept near the end where he started acting a bit more human and much more childish. Eh.

I'm not the OP but I'll state here that I never did like the thought of dark/lightworker. It's too (superstitious) human and too much of this dimension. Granted I am currently human and living in this dimension but I'm also much more, and shouldn't have to limit my mind to sterotypes. Especially tribal/primitive ones of "Us vs Them" or "Good and Bad" and such. I think we're all unique and equal in our own special way; labeling people with 'spiritual' titles based on intuitive actions is just plain disgusting, imo.

I follow my heart, I follow my joy. I may step on some people as I go through life just as people step on ants as they walk down a street. It doesn't mean I intend to crush the ants but I'm not going to crawl around because even so, the fleas will be offended by my lack of attention to them!

At the same time, if it suits me I may go out of my way to help insects (as I often do with spiders) by moving them out of my house in the summer so they can get food or letting them squat in the corners and pick up stray flies during the winter.

Metaphors aside, I'm here to enjoy life. Anything I do will offend at least one person (guaranteed) but at the same time, if I follow my heart it may inspire a hundred people in return.

Lightworker, darkworker, I don't care. They can be thrown in the trash with the other stereotypes. Works for others (that's fine) but it's not my cup of tea.
