As I am reading the lightworker darkworker articles again, it seems that the completely polarized people, either love or fear, do not do anything for fun, i.e. for relaxing. Does a level 10 darkworker play videogames? And also Steve said that at the end we should all choose between darkworking and lightworking! Does that mean after many lifetimes there comes a time where we choose one path for eternity? |

when do "levels" ever come into polarity? Darkworker this is just ridiculous. A darkworker doesn't spend all their time posting about darkworking, read the articles, choose a side and go with it. Do a 30 day experiment and stop procrastinating.

The times when I have held strongly polarized intentions, the answer is yes, you do work all the time. The feeling you get is analagous to the drive to have sex, i.e it's not a chore. It's something you want to do A LOT. That's not to say it's always pleasant, but you wouldn't have it any other way. edit: when you polarize it's a decision to invest yourself emotionally in something. You know how you can detach yourself from life through meditation and pretend you don't care? Transcend your problems by refusing to acknowledge them as problems? Polarizing is the opposite of that. It's a decision to care, and with that comes the possibility of great pleasure and great suffering when things don't go the way you want. It's like changing your life from black and white to coloured. Last edited by Plato; 11-26-2008 at 02:12 PM. |

Sometimes, I do wonder if we read the same articles, darkworker While polarization can be used to boost personal effectiveness, it does not mean you'll be turned into a superhuman working machine. It is human nature needing time to relax and have a minimum of contact to other humans, but people will obviously relax in different manners. If I discovered that the best way for me to relax is to play video games, I'd do that if my current goal would be to relax in order to be fit to achieve other goals. Neither nor mind nor your body can be in 100% alert-and-fit-state 24/7. And i seems to me you have the miconception that goals ALWAYS have to include a lot of non-enjoyable work. Imagine a lightworker who wants to give joy to people by, hm, let's say, becoming an artist (be it an actor, master an instrument, you name it). He would certainly practice a lot, and not always enjoy practice, but most times, he would. You can enjoy yourself and relax WHILE working on goals. This does not apply for all goals, but for many. I think learning Hebrew quite fun and relaxing (yes, I am strange), and it is also an important goal for me, because I need it for my next degree. But maybe it is a sign of my low consciousness that I enoy my tasks |

IMO if you have a truly satisfying content life you're not spending a lot of time on escapes (eg video games) because you're happy and don't need an escape; but this is just my opinion and it may not agree with Steve's lightworker/darkworker idea. Quote:
Instead of worrying about which label to consciously choose, why not let your inner self develop on its own. It'll become apparent then what label(s) truly describe you. Don't try to overthink and pick a label, then change yourself to fit that label. | |||
