Well, you're a "people", aren't you, Lifequest? Practice on yourself! Would overcoming shyness, and generating happiness for others, make you happy? Then you are living your purpose, right now!

Of course, you're right! I guess that my purpose works not only for others, but also for myself, hadn't seen it that way... You're good!

I just found mine:

To teach people how to be and do whatever they want to be and do.

That's amazing. I have found mine and it's nearly the same. I'm still working on making it appear in my daily life, or perhaps I'm just not SEEING it appearing in my daily life.

"To love, trust and believe in myself, have the courage to be who I want to be , live the life I want to live, have everything I want to have and move others to do the same"

I think that the best answer I can give you is the one I wrote at ABOUT ME in my blog..."to contribute to make our world a better place to live in...."

Yours is much more elegantly written thats for sure, I had to fit the word teach somewhere though which messes it up.

Perhaps a slightly better one;
My purpose is to teach people how to achieve excellence in everything and through this achieve excellence myself.

The exact wording doesn't really matter to me, just as long as it has teaching personal developmint ish in it somewhere.

Oh yeah, while having fun should probably also be a part of it but that seems to come naturally if I follow my purpose.

My purpose in life is to create a holistic healing center for teens between 12 and 17 who are suicidal, depressed, or in despair, as an alternative to mainstream psychiatric confinement and treatment. It will be called Bravehearts, and will offer healing on all levels in a way that is holisically empowering. emilee

Honey, we've done the B complexes in and out. There's no cure for MS right now. Now, some people, like my fiance, are managing to control it with diet, exercise, and drugs like Copaxone.

Most people who have MS are not in wheelchairs or severely disabled. The treatment has so greatly improved so fast. I know in my heart there will be a real cure and soon, but it won't be B3. B3, 6, and 12 DO help a lot of the symptoms with MS.

Maeve,

Has he tried raw food diet, exposing his body to sunlight on everyday basis.

I personally feel there is no disease in this world which is incurable ,if one take cares of his body like a temple.

If i were the person with MS ,i would not stop before it gets alright.

I dont have MS , but i have some experience of what does it mean to have a chronic disease like that.

"To live consciously, expand others view of their own personal and creative potential, and empower them to pursue their vision."

It reminds me a lot of Steve's, which make it seem somewhat non-original...

My purpose is to be the light in the darkness that reminds myself and others that there is always more hope and joy than anger and fear. To be at peace with myself and the world. To be love and to be loved. And, most of all, to never be too serious about anything.

Smile Life's purpose

Mine is very simple: To be happy and joyous and to help others feel good about themselves.
I've really enjoyed reading all of your responses.

To help others find their purpose, to bring peace and love to the world, to help others in need, and to create music.

Default purpose

My purpose is to assist others to re-discover, express and experience their Authentic Self in their life.

My personal goals are to strengthen my conscious awareness of my Authentic Self, to live with integrity, passion, and compassion and to overcome self doubt.

I agree that there is no evil. Where can I read your article Adam?

For the past couple of weeks, I have been questioning my motive in Life. I have things I have to do everyday, goals I set. But ultimately I asked myself, "what is the point?" I still feel this way.

Just a couple of nights ago, I was laying in bed and all my problems came to me, I was extremely frustrated, I wanted to scream because I felt like I have no control, in fact that is what it feels all the time. I questioned my purpose in Life, why am I living, because everything I do is literally pointless to me. Absolutely pointless to me. I asked myself what my purpose, and thoughts were racing through my mind like crazy, and I was ready to pull my senses out. I felt like this many nights to say the truth.

And then something came to me and all thoughts stopped. I asked myself what my purpose is, and my response was:

"To become God"

All thoughts stopped after that. I immediately felt powerful, and extremely calm...... I don't really know what that means....but I know that I will know pretty soon.

The purpose of life is the same for everyone, to wake up while we're still dreaming about being human! I used to think it was about "getting ahead" somehow, whatever that means, even if that means having success at spiritual lightworking. However, when I let that go and just surrendered to being used by divine will, however that plays out, I found my true purpose. I am here in the now like I never have been and it has no visuals in my mind as to what my life purpose is. However, I meet lots of people who I can help and just being me seems to help them a bit.

I am a student of http://www.usmonline.org, too, and I really like their course on Life Purpose, it really helped me. There's a bunch of excerpts from their course on Life Purpose you can read at Life Purpose, Purpose Driven Life, Purpose of Life, Purpose In Life, Living Life
