What is YOUR Life Purpose?

I have a conviction to help these people or at least "teach them to fish but not always giving the fish". That's why I try to bring realisation of this matter to people. But I always believe that "to bless others, one 1st must be blessed abundantly."

Hi my name is Mark and I stumbled upon this blog somehow that led me to this forum.
As I started to write down my answers or thoughts it went something like this. First note: I don't know what my purpose in life is.
then about the second page it went a little like this- To make something of myself.
Then on the third page it went more like this-To shot the SOB that got me started on this self help thing.
By the time I got to lets say my sixth page it went like this- To convince Americans to get of the plastic and the fossil fuels.
Then by the time I hit my eighth page of about 25 answers per page I realized I may have just found MY PURPOSE IN LIFE.

My purpose in life is to leave this world as either bear crap or just bleached bones in the desert spread by the coyotes.


Man do I feel good knowing my purpose in life.

Life is good but to short for some games....................

Steves excercise did not really work for me, but I read the book "Living on purpose" by Brad Swift. Using that I came up with the purpose

I live in truth and insight, together with others, a simple life for the greatest good of all.

I have come to the following conclusion:

The meaning of life is creative self-expression.

As I have not the wisdom what to make of this, I'm using Steve Pavlina's 'rational intelligence' method for creating purpose, which basically means I project this context of reality onto myself and get out a clear purpose.

Since my context of reality is seeing life as a medium for creative self-expression, then when I project this context onto myself, the result is very simple — I’m a participant in the process of creation and self-expression.

To creatively express myself, however, I must understand the answer to the question "who am I" before I know what to express. For how can I express myself if I am not clear about this Self? I suspect this issue is at the heart of everyone's purpose. Also, I suspect that many people will realize that their current life purpose is off precisely because it is focused on ways to enhance one's understanding of the Self or are paths to enhance creative self-expression. If my suspicion is true, then such purposes will still be pursued, but will be subordinated to more effective creative self-expression.
