The statement of purpose isn't an objective exercise. It's not intended to set a person apart. It's supposed to focus and solidify your own conception of your own destiny, not fit you into the social fabric of our time. If you start worrying what other people will think of the purpose you state, then you're doing it wrong. So people have the same purpose. So what? We all have two arms and two legs, too.
