Who has had the most influence on your life?

I believe different influences enter your life as you need them. You may have heard the phrase, 'when the pupil is ready, teachers will appear.'

Sadly to say most of the people in my life who have influenced me have been mostly negative. Most of the positive influences have come from TV like Indiana Jones.

Interesting. The first poster has been removed (or were removed) and the second poster is banned. Looking at his history it's because of his feelings towards his religion or was there more going on?

Bumping a thread that may die anyways, my biggest influence is a character I made in an rpg almost 10 years ago. Like all characters, he was an aspect of myself and this part of me was something I wanted to bring about; a mentally strong person who wasn't afraid to go for what he wanted.

I'm still only 1/10th of what he is in that respect but I find that I'm much more ME now than I ever was.

I think it was because he kept posting in big colourful fonts.
