Everything falls into place

On August 1st, I walked into my job and gave them my 2 weeks notice. They told me they would pay me the 2 weeks, but I should go immediately. I had no other job lined up.

For the next week and a half I got up at 8am and checked the ads for waitressing jobs and went to apply for them from noon to 6 or 7ish.

After a week with little luck, I informed a temp agency I used to work with that I am available for work again.

A few days later they called me telling me that the same company I was temping at before wanted me to temp there again for 3 - 4 months. This was a company I really liked working for, small, casual, flexible hours, good pay, great people. They wanted to hire me permanently before, but I chose a different industry instead.

So I thought, AWESOME! Now I have a company I can at least satisfactorily be a slave for while I work on my REAL purpose, which is something along the lines of writing, weaving, managing.....

I am already in the process of writing my book which I have known since 1st grade I would do some time in my life.

Another thought I had was to open a store where I sell my weavings and books. Maybe do tarot card readings from there as well, or even have weaving and tarot workshops. My cousin and I always talk about opening our own stores, she wants to have a coffee shop / bakery. We just talk about this a lot, but never any real planning, just a distant dream.

Well, I got a call from that cousin today, she told me that she was discussing these thoughts with her sister. Her sister (my other cousin), who has significantly much more money than we do, is very interested in becoming an investor in a little combo store of this type. So we are going to discuss it over lunch this weekend.

Thank goodness I walked into work that day and quit my job that I hated. I feel like now I have opened my consciousness to be able to hear the sounds of opportunites around me and I can be guided to them. Before I was blinded by the cloud of desperate devotion to the place that convinced me i was home and lied to me in the end.

They do say, "Let go and let God." Whatever God is to you, I think its the greatest advice ever. Just let the wave take you, just surf it!

That's awesome. You give me hope. I quit my job but nothing paying has taken its place yet.
