Killing animals for food is totally different than killing insects because they are gross and in our house.

yeah i know they did kill us,but nowadays people only hear about it from the past so they kinda forget how small we are. If dinosaurs still existed though,i bet we'd have a lot more humbled people around here who respect smaller living things.

As for killing animals just for the sake of it, i think it's wrong. But i consider "to have fun" or "to make experiments" or "to not see these annoying crawling/flying things on my floor/house anymore" enough reason to kill bugs/animals.
Well,i agree with your last reason but "to have fun" IS "for the sake of it".

I rescue them when they're in danger, and try never to kill any. Of course it happens that I kill some inadvertently because they're so tiny, but I feel sorry and apologize in this case.

When we enter their house, we're a big danger for them. But the other way around it's not the case, and we are conscious enough to recognize it. I don't mind having them fly around, eat some of my food or live in my house. Why not?

I don't understand why some people are so scared of having insects at home. You won't die because of a few ants running around. And why exactly is it disgusting?? Besides, if you want to get rid of ants, there's a good method: yell at them loudly and regularly. They'll go.

I don't mind them biting me either, a drop of blood for me is nothing, and for them it's a gift of life.

I also find it fascinating to observe them. They're usually beautiful and elegant. Just like snails, I love snails.
You'd happily share your home with roaches? You know, there's no other way to get rid of them than kill them because they breed so quickly.

These incredible creatures have adapted so well that they will attack you even when dead.
If you poison them, you risk poisoning yourself.
If you squash them, apart from their legs and body parts disappearing under your furniture, their dead bodies emit chemicals which (according to research I read which was carried out in southern Taiwan) can damage your immune system.
The only way is to think positively, using LOA, and sweep them out on a dustpan. Usually they just sit there and let me.
Good luck with that! I'd love to see you living in New York! You'd have to give them the remote with that attitude! LOL

Have you ever been to Taipei? There are lots of bugs here. Plenty of practice for positive anti-bug thinking. Actually my dog corners them first, then I sweep them up.

Awww i can relate, you might have seen my post about the grasshopper incident LOL I think i hate seeing bugs suffer because it can't understand what is happening, and i caused it. Its one thing to make someone suffer if they murdered somebody or something but for a poor innocent bug to suffer for no reason,i cant stand watching that. And watching animals suffer is even worse.

Here in Texas scorpions in houses is a common occurance. If you're allergic I think you could die, otherwise you get bad swelling and pain from the sting. In some parts of the world I believe there are much more highly potent scorpions that could kill you?? Not sure.

That would never work in a NY apartment building. They roam from apartment to apartment. Even if you are clean, if they're in the building you will get an infestation occasionally that you cannot just brush out the door. lol It's too funny you think that would work here!

I'm a fan of putting spiders outside, helping them out of the basement sink if they get stuck, and leaving their outdoor webs intact when I can. I respect bees, wasps, and hornets—I leave them alone when possible, move calmly when they're near, and put them outside if they find their way into the house. I recognize that they do a lot of good, and as long as I don't make them feel threatened, they do no harm to me.

Slugs, aphids, and other things that eat my garden veggies, as well as mosquitoes, biting flies, etc that suck my blood and make me itch are fair game for getting squished. I prefer the ladybugs to eat the aphids, though.
