Default contacts with people from past

Hi all

I have faced lots of hurdles in my career life. I am close to attain what I have been working hard upon.

And I have many friends and wellwishers. I also had certain people in my life who have underestimated, degraded or disliked me. Facebook, orkut and other networking sites are very popular these days and many peoplel have joined those.

I am very excited to contact many people from my past, those with whom I am not in contact now. I know they will also be very happy to hear from me. But something is stopping me to create an account in these sites. I feel that I am close to my destination (in my career). This is the time I need to concentrate more on my career. Say if I have spend 7 years, its just two months left to attain what I wanted, for so many years. I feel that I will be distracted from my goal if I join a networking site. I feel that some people may disturb me. Its not they, its just me. Do you think I should wait for another 3-4 months and then join social networking sites?
