I agree that it's a very good idea to make detailed plans and think it would be ideal to do so a bit later on. I believe the initial goal is (and should be) getting likeminded people together and discussing possibilities without constraining that discussion at this stage. | |

"If individuals have been able to make such lasting impressions on the world, just imagine how much we can do with such a large community of like minded people." I firmly believe that everyone changes the world every day in an infinite number of ways. For better or worse, depending on one's frame of mind. After watching "What the bleep do we know?" last year and recently "The Secret", this conviction has only been strengthened and reinforced. Regarding the idea of 'starting a world-wide movement' to marshal our collective resources towards positive results, one thought is: why re-invent the wheel? There are hundreds, thousands of very active groups already in their stride who are taking steps in this direction. Would you not achieve more tangible results more quickly and effectively if you were to throw your support behind one of these groups that you feel a strong connection with? To find groups of this nature just google around till you hit gold. Maybe a soul excursion of this type would give you an opportunity to flesh out your ( very admirable ) desires within a working template. Once you have experienced tangible results of your efforts, made some good contacts, established a track record, etc., you would be in a much better position to implement your Grand Vision. In other words, walk before you run. Think about the benefit of hanging with a mentor(s) that you really respect and admire. While your proposal sounds exciting and intentional, I'm a little concerned that the logistics of what you are setting out to do might be fairly overwhelming. Why not try to ease into it so you can enjoy the little successes and work your way through the pitfalls that you are bound to encounter...within a group of seasoned veterins? I bet that if you approached some of these groups with your enthusiasm, you would be welcomed with open arms. Just putting it out there for your consideration. FYI, I have put together ( with a creative collaborator) a PD tool called "I Believe'". It's a CD Single that features a poem set to music. Not a very original name, lol. Stay well and keep those positive thoughts flowing! CU, Michael |

To OP, are you still busy with this whole project? This has caught my interest and if you can't find the time to do this other people might be able to take over, for one I'd love to help out since I have A LOT of time on my hands right now (although limited monetary resources but thats fine). |

Think back to Gandhi who said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Consider also articles such as the following: (think local)Become a thirsty thinker - Dream Builders - Dream Builders direct you to find Financial Freedom through Motivation and Goal Setting Best wishes! |

You can contribute to change in the world by focusing inward and learning to change yourself. Refrain from "trying," to do things. This word simply means you expect to fail honorably and ultimately seek to accomplish nothing. It's subconscious doubt and discouragement. Having a willingness to change means you will be open to new understandings and possibilities that can emerge through your attitude and behaviour. It will only feel like you will make a difference in the world if you're convinced you have the abilities to change, to think of yourself and influence positive things. This isn't meant to feel like a heavy load on your shoulders. Its meant to feel light and uplifting. You are the captain of this ship. Navigate. |
