Post Is "Contribution crucial to Success" a BS?

I'm not an authority to judge this, by I would like to share with everyone here.

No, it's not a B.S.

I wrote this sentence and I still love this the most:

Quote:
Success comes from Contributing to others and Allow others to contribute to you, not contributing by Expecting Return.
It explains what successful people mean about "The more people you help, the richer you are" or "To be rich, you have to help more people to be rich".

The quote can break into 2 sentence:

1. Contribute to others and Allow others to contribute to you makes you success.

2. Contributing by expecting return will not make you success.

Here's the logic:

There are 3 way of making money in this world:

1. Take away from others "Gamble, cheating, robbing, stealing, speculating etc."
2. Contribute to others in exchange of money "Sell products that helps people, solve people's problem, investment, education etc."
3. You have a money printing machine that prints money.

Bob Proctor(one of the guy in "The Secret") mentioned this in his interview (you can download for free here) before "Earning money has to do with rendering service. And the more service you render, the more money you're going to earn."

Look careful at the word "Service" and you will realize it's from the word "Serve". To make it short, earning money have to do with SERVING PEOPLE. The more people you serve, the more money you make.

Contribution is one of the way of serving people. Look at the world's most famous business and people. Business that are the most successful are the business that contributes. They solve people's problem and make people live a better life or more successful. "The secret" and "Rich Dad Poor Dad" are one of the good example. Both are the best sellers.

But, my mother always tell me "You can contribute. But what about yourself? Contribute and helping others won't put any money in your pocket."

Here comes the second point: Allowing others to contribute to you.

When you contribute to others, people will get contributed and contribute back to you and many more people.

You allow them to contribute to you. Not by telling them it's a must to contribute back to you. Not by making them or convincing them to contribute back to you. You just recommend them some way they can contribute to you or when they contribute something to you, accept it.

Allowing others to contribute to you contributes back to them as well. When you try to contribute or help someone, will you feel sad when they reject or refuse what you contributed? When you try to help and contribute to others, will you feel happy when they accept and it make a difference to them?

Allowing and accepting contribution encourage them to contribute to others and contribute more to other people as well. It something people normally don't understand and refuse to accept. Allow it! You might not know by allowing make how much difference to that person.

The next is about the expecting return.

Allowing is very different from expecting. It's because people might and might not contribute to you. Expecting is something like 100% contributed, 100% return should come back. Expecting makes your contribution limited and no power.

When you contribute and people don't return something to you, you feel frustrated and upset when you have expectations. You will feel less and less motivated to contribute. Your contributed is limited and full of frustration. Less contribution comes out from you and less people get contributed.

How I did it in practical?

I set up a blog. Blog is an inspiring business to me because blog shares knowledge and experience owner themselves could have spend years and thousands of dollars to acquire. And then, I post articles or video that helps people to be success and wealthy. Not more business opportunities and programs to join buy mindset and attitude. (Contribute)

Everyone who comes to my blog will get to read it and contributed. If they find what they read is valuable or they achieve great results after they apply, I allow them to subscribe or purchase products from me. (Allowing)

I also allow them to share this blog to other people so that more people can be contributed and make a difference to more people. (Allowing)

I don't lead them, command them to pay or buy my products even they read all my articles which I spend lots of money and time to prepare. In fact, I pay for my own domain name and web hosting. (Not Expecting)

Some seminars are free to join and they will recommend products after they deliver the seminar too.

If you are interested in starting a blog, PM me. I teach everything free of charge. I'm inspired by contributing and inspired to have more bloggers in the world.

Thanks for reading.
