Wooohoooo! Today is one of the greatest days in my life! Uh, yesterday, actually, since it's four in the morning A few weeks ago I attended a workshop about how to be self-employed. I had several project ideas to make money, all of which did make sense and fit my skills. However, after I described them, the teacher, a coach, said to me: "You weren't credible. Only when you talk about writing are you really shining". Ugh, damn! A lot of people have told me for years that I should write. Since I'm a loner, absolutely want to feel free and love writing, being a writer is of course a good idea. It has always been my dream job. I even have some ideas for screenplays or stories, for blogs and articles, it's not that I have nothing to say... But something still was missing, although I didn't know what. Well now I know what was missing: the ghostwriting part. As a kid I wanted to be a secret agent. I love jumping in a train, go to the toilets, dress up, and come out of the train as someone else. I love pretending that I am someone different, switch personalities. That's why I also love learning foreign languages, that's additional personalities. I love playing roles, but not in a theater, in real life. As a ghostwriter, I'm something between a secret agent and an actor. I mustn't talk about my mandators or about what I write, that's a big secret! And to write, I have to pretend I am my mandator, try to think and feel like them in order to write like they would do. That's REALLY fun!!! It's pure adventure! And a great use for my high empathy, without too much direct contact with people. And it's something I do for others. And through the writing it allows me to create moments of love, happiness, freedom, lightheartedness and peace for others and myself, so it's perfectly aligned with my life purpose. And I will learn a lot about many different topics, discover lots of new things, have to do some research on unknown fields... which is great for me, as a curious scanner. Isn't that just perfect for me?? Actually I wonder how some job can possibly so perfectly suit me! Today I submitted my first creation. I did it for free for my sister. She's doing a master in political science at university and was very stressed and desperate because of tons of work, so I wrote a minor paper to help her a bit. I have no clue whatsoever about political science. Had to do a few hours of research first, and then to imagine I am my sister. That was soooooo fun, you won't believe it! That was the moment I realized ghostwriting is my dream job. Actually the goal was just to make a rough draft for her, so that she would have less work to do herself. But she said my paper is "perfect" and she's gonna submit it exactly as I wrote it! Just wanted to tell you. I wouldn't have made this important discovery without you all. Thank you so much for that. And thank you so much for being just like you are. I love you all |

| That would be my next post... How do you get into/gain credibility for Ghostwriting? Somehow I don't think my girlfriend will want me to/let me write any of her papers for her anytime soon (although she DOES always have me go over and edit them after she's finished)...

If we generalize your statements about your love of evolving personality in work and life, we could say, "Persona must be part of my work." This is a great example of discovering why you really love something, rather than jumping the gun and excepting it without question. I think the extra effort to figure out the why of something, saves you from making some mistakes, especially when choosing a medium and lets you tap into your real essence. |

Thanks all! I'm so happy! uber, a website, that's a good idea. You gonna laugh, I didn't even think of it! I imagined more being a secret tip Brigid, glad to see you're back. When are you eventually going to post a picture?! You know it wasn't easy for me either to find out! It took me half a year of intensive work. And before that, 28 years of having no clue about what I wanted to do |

Your enthusiasm is contagious Rose!! Narrowing my passions and talents together into a 'making a living while loving it!' package is a challenge. I think I am thinking so much that I am missing the obvious and need an objective editor to look at the findings!! Perhaps I can find one here as the list would be too long to post in this box, and not all would be interested in connecting the dots. BUT, this has given me a whole new idea now!!...another one..god help me help myself!!!lol All theses ideas and not one of them launched!! As far as posting my picture goes.......its posted on my profile, but I could not figure out how to get it on the 'post your picture' thread. Also, I had some anonymous person from this forum contact me on my profiled msn link in a very rude and suggestive manner, and it made me a little bit leary about delivering information. At any rate, I blocked them, so sure I can post to the picture thread if I can get some guidance!!! I really love this forum. It keeps reminding me to look up and see that there are no fences around me at all. Brigid |

Are you a scanner? It sounds like you are. That's an interesting case, anyway. If you want, feel free to send me your list, I'll see if I can discover some patterns. I'm doing very boring paper-sorting and bags-packing work these days (moving countries soon), so I procrastinate day and night with the excuse that I absolutely need to answer all these interesting posts on this forum! If a nice lady (*bow*) needs some help, I'd be very glad to use this as an excuse to procrastinate even more As for the post your picture thread, use the "insert image" button (the yellow mountain sign). You'll have to type in the url where your pic is located. That means, you need to have the pic online somewhere. If you have no website or space online where you can upload it, create an account on, for instance, photobucket, it's free and easy. There you can upload your pic, then click on "permalink" under your pic and use that url to post your picture in the thread. | |
