| I have been re-reading some of Steve's posts, and I decided it was about time I try to find my purpose, so that I might actually have a meaning. The post said expect up to 60 min or more for it to work, I tried for 30. My answers ranged from my hobbies, to just things I like to do, to goals I want in life. However, nothing stuck out, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. And after about 25 minutes, I could not seem to think of anything else. I sat for 5 minutes thinking of things, but nothing came to mind. Has anyone else had problems like this trying to find your purpose? Advice would be appreciated! |

| That thing didn't work for me. I realized much later that I already knew my life's purpose, but it was a little blurry. Basically, whenever I would watch a movie which had something to do with my purpose, or read a book/article related to my purpose, I would often get a chill down my back and feel really happy. I didn't figure out my purpose until after figuring out this phenomenon. Once I did figure it out, which I guess was manifested because I had just read some of Steve's articles, I realized that I'd known it all along. So, if anything makes you feel kind of jittery or gives you a chill down your spine, probe it a little bit, and maybe you'll find your purpose. |

My life's purpose is quite simple... it's "personal growth..." nothing very sexy about that... however it has served me very well... So, my advice to you... is that, if you want to find your life's purpose... look at your belly button... you'll find the answer right there... . |
