Do you have a money or finance related blog (or "website" for those who don't like the word "blog")? Please list it here. I'm looking to add some new feeds to my reading list. New or old. Bring it.

I had intended on blogging about how I make money online through my blog. As is often the case it got put on the long finger while I was busy making money! Perhaps it was just a distraction from my overall purpose. The blog in question is Six Figure Blog. I am looking for a good home for it so inquiries are welcome

It is hosted for free on my friends hosting service. So I am looking for a new owner. I may start putting out feelers in the blogosphere and on SitePoint. At this point I just want to gauge possible interest. It doesn't really have a PR but the domain name is prime real estate.

We use Hostgator and currently we are billed at about $10 a month. We have had excellent service and all of our questions answered. I suspect that as we grow, we would probably stick with this same hosting service.

I write a blog about personal finance called The Simple Dollar. My primary audience is twenty- and thirtysomethings trying to manage debt, but there's advice there for everyone.

| I just re-started my blog. As someone who is still currently employed and in the process of growing from active income to passive income, I felt it would be wrong for me to try and teach what I don't fully know. Thus, my blog is a running commentary on my transition from one side to the other. As I've been working on the process long enough to know that it's achievable and what I'm doing, I think it'll be fun for others who are working on their own success, as well as those trying to see if it can be done, to see the process in action.

It may be slower growth, but I think it's more stable, as there is a greater opportunity to create a bond that goes beyond just a product or products. I think every business opportunity has it's pluses and minuses, but I think those that win are the ones that have the greatest mentorship and I think the people that win in them are the ones who are willing to stick with them long enough to learn how to be mentored and apply that mentorship. I had been an employee for 13 years when I got started, so for me to think that I know it all, even after 2 years would be shallow-minded on my part. With the opportunity that I'm involved in, there is enough success from various people in various parts of the Country (and the World, actually) that signifies to me that anyone can do it. Or more directly, that I have at least as much skill as some of the people I've seen move on. If that makes sense. I guess that's why I was bold enough to start the blog - I have full confidence that I'll make it. Honestly, we're closer to beating the odds than ever before, but even if things were to backslide a little, we've come close enough that I have full confidence we'll get there. It's the hardest thing I've ever done. That's why I enjoy it so much. If it was easy, it wouldn't be fulfilling. Last edited by chicagosuccess; 12-19-2006 at 03:06 PM. | |

Actually, I have several blogs, but the finance one is PR5 and is here. I'm just getting rolling with postings. I do have three series that are ongoing, let me know what you think. Best Kenneth |
