your will power article was very good. eye opening.

You said it takes a lot of time to research an article and create one. Well, you are not going to make money overnight. Even if you can write 75 articles like that in 1 year... you'll have golden content. And with a bit of optimization... you could make decent money and keep growing. And then in time, you'll have good steady traffic.

The main thing is it takes time and growth is always exponential. So I would say stick to it... and commit. This is what i've read and learnt. Good luck.

That's not an easy answer, but I can answer in short point form:
(1) I have a full time job in the corporate world. However, my role is more of a "coach" to my employees rather than a manager, so I pretty much already am in a PD related field even at work.
(2) Once my financial situation allows for it, I will shift to a career where I help a larger number of people.

That's the best way I can answer that question.

Yeah, I've been doing a LOT of research lately on how to make money online blogging and I'm discovering some amazing things. Lets just say that besides writing some good articles, I've been doing pretty much everything else wrong on my blog. Oh well, it's a learning process and it takes time. I'm definitely in this for the long stretch so I'm not going away anytime soon.

Good point. One can have the best content in the world, but if it isn't easily assessable, it's not useful. If it's not laid out well, it's less useful. If you're invisible to google, it's invisible.

I'm curious, what types of things do you think you did wrong?

If I look at your other blog at Self Help and Personal Development Blog by Paul Piotrowski it seems to run better than a while ago.
Even when Alexa is inaccurate, you had a 892,114 traffic rank in the last week comparision to 1,518,778 over the last 3 month.
I think your review me button showed 5€ at the time you posted your idea about having the new blog and now it showes 40€.
Did your traffic also increase?

What have you done right to get that result?

1) Most importantly, I made some major mental shifts in my thinking when it comes to my blog and the value it provides.
2) Got clear on what I want from my blog. Got clear on what actions I need to take to grow my blog.
3) Made lots of little "tweaks" here and there. Updated theme, installed plugins, etc. All reported on InspiredBlogger.com.
4) Set some goals.
5) Working on writing articles more consistently.

The increase in traffic you're seeing is just a small starting point. The big stuff is yet to come.
