Pay Per Click Advice Needed

Hi Everyone,

I have been using Google Adwords for some time now and have been showing some results. I get a decent amount of traffic everyday day, but I want to generate more with Adwords. I test my ads and I feel most are strong ads but I just havent hit mark I want.

Can anyone give me some advice on adding that extra? Also what are your beliefs on Yahoo and other ppc sites?

What specifically is the issue you are experiencing?

• Low Click Through Rate
• High Cost per Click
• Low Conversion Rate
• High Cost Per Conversion

Generally, success can be had by going after more 'long tail' phrases ('2007 Jeep Cherokee Wheels' rather than 'Truck Wheels') because the CPC is lower and they usually convert better because they are so specific. Usually an effective PPC campaign starts with a large number of keywords/phrases which are widdled down to the ones that perform best.

As far as other PPC engines, do a trial and see if they work for you. I've worked with many different clients in all sorts of industries. Many times Google yields the best results, but believe it or not, some get their best results from MSN... It depends on the market and demographics, but it's worth a test on Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
