Post Advertising cost on a blog

Does anyone know a fair price to charge an advertiser for an ad 15 words long with two or three text links?

Thanks,

Arlene

That not how it works. What counts is your audience. In addition the placement on the page does also play a role.

Another site to gauge fees on is Text-Link-Ads.com. They're probably the biggest player in the industry of link brokering, and they're also offering $100 in FREE ads right now.

Unless your site gets a ton of traffic, most text ads are bought simply for the purpose of building up PageRank (a score Google assigns to sites that plays a major part in rankings in search results). The higher the PageRank of your site, the more you can charge.

Make sure it's clear that this will not be an exclusive relationship and that you may have other sponsors in the future as well.

Best of luck!
