| Hey all, Here's a few vids that really speak to me about value creation. They're from Crossfit, which is a fitness paradigm/business but the lessons on seeking excellent versus seeking money really appeal to the lightworker in me. Video 2 is probably the clearest on these, but there's no harm in watching all three. Enjoy: http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/C...itiesPart1.wmv http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/C...itiesPart2.wmv http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/C...itiesPart3.wmv (They're also available in Quicktime format, just replace wmv with mov) Colm

| Thanks for the videos, Colm. The more I read about business (several hundred books so far), the more I realize that a business model based on lightworking & love is the only sustainable one. Fear-based businesses may manage to stagger along for a while, but they will be toppled with the creative destruction brought about by innovative businesses, and it's hard to foster innovation in a fear-based environment. With a love-based business mindset, you can: 1. Attract the best employees (who want to work for something greater than themselves) 2. Keep the best customers. If you treat your customers with love, the total customer return as well as new customer acquistion rates will be much better. 3. Get good press. Look at the press' treatment of Wal-Mart, versus the positive response to a company like Lululemon. |
