Earn Income While You're Parading Around Naked?!?!?!

For those of you who have seen the movie Hostel 2, theres the scene where there's the art class in italy where they draw the nude art models. I was wondering what the pay for that type of job would be.

I know they exist because I see art classes at universities with titles like 'painting the nude model' or something like that....

Anyone who does this for a "living"? or know someone who does???

Would be interesting way to have an income stream.....

what do you think? all *positive* comments would be appreciated!

I don't think you can become rich posing for artists who showcase their stuff at community centers, but you can make a butt ton of money (no pun intended) in other areas of nude modeling.

So it's not a bad idea to consider. Of course, success will depend strictly on physical looks, but that is also the case with many mainstream careers.

The last time I heard, nude models at colleges make around $10 (USD) per hour give or take. Certainly not a money machine, but it beats minimum wage.

I am sure there are differences between large and small colleges as well as depending on how big art is at that particular campus.

I guess it depends on where you live. I am in a low cost of living area where most people make about $6-7 working at a place like Wal-Mart.

Yeah, it's weird...I live in an area that's very, very depressed economically. Yet, Wal Mart still pays pretty well. She's worked there a while; she didn't make $10+ overnight or anything, but she does make a decent income there now.

Well, there's more than just the porn industry. In Los Angeles there are plenty of castings available for women willing to be nude or semi-nude. There will be a predominance of porn and semi-porn producers, of course, but not all. For many of these castings, you don't even have to have a perfect body -- just a lot of youth and ballsiness. You'll probably run into a lot of unsavory characters and find yourself in humiliating and dangerous situations, but that is the price to be paid if you want to avoid actual work.

If you happen to have one perfect body feature, you can earn TONS of money as a parts model. There are agencies you can find online who represent men and women whose hands, asses, stomachs, and legs stand in for Julia Robert's or Ben Affleck's.
