Submitting my articles to FSDaily / Published News

All of them made it and I got decent traffic. Though I can't say I gained regular visitors.

I've found that my best traffic has occurred when I've contributed to peoples' lives on my own, and recommended my site to them.

Though, mine is a PD site, so it's fitting that I just work it out that way

1) Stumbleupon

2) Getting involved on these forums, having my blog and latest article linked in my signature, and occasionally creating a new thread regarding one of my newest articles.

3) Commenting on other blogs of a similar nature.

4) Finally, but most importantly, focusing on writing quality articles and making my blog user friendly. Its one thing to get people to your site, its another to make them want to return and/ or subscribe to my feed.

Ah you're a game developer too! Nice to meet you.

In the past I been able to promote my game on such places like freshmeat.net, happypenguin.org and others. They work great in so far they give you lot of traffics.

My article, Ultimate Resource list for the Game Hackers, while not specifically aimed at your type of game developers do have some resource on where you can promote your project.

I'm running a financial freedom blog, so writing good content is the best way to get traffics.

One way could be.........Leave some room in your post to allow your readers to pick up the conversation in the comment section. Also, encourage your readers to leave a comment. Make it known that comments are indeed welcome.

From an SEO perspective, it's all about links and content. People battle over which is more important, but the right links can do wonders. You do have a good number of links pointing to the site, but they are probably not the right links. Read this recent post I did on Link Building Strategies. I would strongly recommend spending a few hundred dollars on some paid text link ads on targeted high PR sites.

You should also change the title tag of your home page to strictly Personal Development. You also need to mention that phrase more times in your home page, try mentioning it about 10 times (only mentioned once now). The phrase Personal Development is very competitive so you need to really be on your game SEO-wise.

It's also a negative factor that your articles have dynamic page names instead of static ones with keywords in the name.

Best of luck!

P.S> Create an XML sitemap to guarantee engines will spider all of your pages.
